    Academic Programme: Ghana Junior High School Curriculum
    Students do not take Ghana Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). They continue at the GCIHS Senior High School after passing a qualifying examination. All teachers have a minimum of a first degree. Teacher to student ratio is 1:11.

    Teaching Assistants provide learning support and after school supervised studies

    Clubs and Activities:
    Bead Art, Dance and Drama, Debaters and Writers, Agro-green, Sports, Art and Craft.
    ABRSM: tuition for both theory and practical music is available at a fee.
    Thinking skills and debates.

    Facility:
    GCIHS JHS is completely boarding. It is located on the Afienya – Dodowa Road with Library, Science and Computer Laboratories, Playing field, a Sickbay with a doctor and nurses.

    Background:
    The school started in September 2013 when 22 students were admitted into Year 7. The 2016-17 school year starts with 180 students and a full complement of full time teachers. GCIHS JHS is not-for-profit, board-run, private; and operates on the tenets of the Christian faith.


    Admission:
    The process starts in March with applications, and testing in May. The School year starts in August and ends in June.
    It is a trimester system, approximately from August – December, January – March and April to June. Fees are paid termly in advance.
